Lange Lewis

Lange Lewis (1915-2003) was the nom de plume of Oakland, California, native Jane de Lange Lewis. A working writer throughout her life, Lewis only spent a decade working in mystery fiction, publishing six novels in the genre—five of which featured the series character Richard Tuck—between the years 1942 and 1952. She also published under the names Jane Beynon and Jane Lewis Brandt.
